For students, on iOS & Android

Your university inbox,
finally simple.

Unimail is a lightweight email client built for the university inbox you're stuck with: fast to open, easy to read, and out of your way. Log in once, and it's just mail again.

Everything you actually use, nothing you don't

Your university's webmail wasn't built for a phone. Unimail is.

Fast by default

Your inbox loads in the background and stays cached, so opening the app feels instant, not like waiting on a portal.

Actual search

Find that one email from three weeks ago without scrolling through a hundred announcements to get there.

Real attachments

Send photos, PDFs, and documents straight from your camera roll or files, no desktop required.

Swipe to delete, with undo

Clear out clutter with a swipe. Change your mind? You've got a few seconds to bring it right back.

Dark mode that fits

A proper dark theme for late-night deadline emails, not an inverted afterthought.

Push notifications

Know when something lands without opening the app to check, deadlines and announcements included.

Direct to your mail server. Nothing in between.

Unimail connects straight to your university's own mail server with the same login you already use. Your credentials stay on your device. There's no separate account to create, and no third party sitting between you and your inbox.

  • Local credentials. Your login is stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • Your existing account. No new sign-up, use the university email you already have.
  • Independent app. Unimail is unofficial and not endorsed by any university.

Give your inbox the app it deserves.

Questions

Is Unimail an official university app?

No. Unimail is an independent, unofficial email client and isn't endorsed or supported by any university. It connects to your existing university mail server using the login you already have.

Can I change my password or permanently delete my account from the app?

No. Unimail is a mail client, not an account management tool. Password changes and account deletion happen through your university's own account portal.

Where is my login information stored?

On your device. Unimail connects directly to your university's mail server with your credentials, there's no separate Unimail account or third-party server in between.

Which email systems does it work with?

Unimail is built for university mail systems running on Outlook Web Access (OWA). If your school's webmail looks like Outlook, there's a good chance it'll work.

How much does Unimail cost?

Unimail is a monthly subscription: 50 EGP a month for full access, cancel anytime. See Pricing for details.
